Privacy policy of website users

This is an English translation of the Polish original. In the event of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.

1. General information

This Policy sets out the rules for processing the personal data of persons using the website https://letshire.pl/ (the “Website”).

This document supplements the main LET’S Hire Privacy and Personal Data Policy, which contains detailed information on the processing of data of, among others, clients, candidates, workshop participants, users of digital products and newsletter subscribers.

2. Data controller

The controller of personal data is Kaja Stefaniak-Olszanowska, conducting business under the name LET’S Hire Kaja Stefaniak-Olszanowska, with its registered office at ul. Przewóz 32G/18, 30-716 Kraków, Poland, Tax ID (NIP): 6793208051, REGON: 387481293 (the “Controller”).

3. What data may be processed when using the Website?

When you use the Website, the Controller may process:

Data provided directly by the user

In particular:

first and last name,
email address,
phone number,
content of the message,
other data voluntarily provided in a form or correspondence.

Technical and usage data

In connection with the use of the Website, technical information may also be processed, such as:

IP address,
date and time of use of the Website,
information about the device and browser,
information about the operating system,
data on how the Website is used,
information collected using cookies and similar technologies.

The scope of data depends on how the Website is used and on the cookie settings.

4. Forms and contact

If a user contacts the Controller using a form, email or other available channels, the data provided may be processed:

to respond to the message;
to take steps at the user’s request prior to entering into a contract;
to conduct further correspondence;
to archive correspondence and to establish, pursue or defend against possible claims.

Depending on the nature of the contact, the legal basis may be:

Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – where the contact is aimed at concluding a contract;
Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – the Controller’s legitimate interest in handling correspondence and securing possible claims.

Providing data is voluntary; however, without the data necessary for contact, it may not be possible to respond.

5. Downloading free materials

The Controller may allow users to download free materials via the Website, in particular e-books, checklists, guides or other educational materials.

Where a material is made available in exchange for providing data, the user is informed each time:

which data are required,
for what purpose they will be processed,
whether downloading the material involves subscribing to the newsletter.

Downloading a free material does not automatically mean subscribing to the newsletter, unless the user has been clearly informed of this and there is an appropriate legal basis for sending marketing communications.

The rules for processing data in connection with the newsletter are described in the LET’S Hire Privacy and Personal Data Policy and in the Newsletter Terms and Conditions (in Polish).

Subscribing to the newsletter is voluntary.

7. Shop, workshops and digital products

Detailed information on the processing of data of persons:

making purchases in the Shop,
using consultations,
taking part in workshops and online programmes,
using digital products and the AI Assistant,

can be found in the LET’S Hire Privacy and Personal Data Policy and, where relevant, in the Shop Terms and Conditions (in Polish).

8. Cookies and similar technologies

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Some cookies are necessary for the Website to function properly and may be used without the user’s additional consent to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Cookies whose use requires consent – in particular those related to certain analytical, marketing or advertising functions – are used only after the user has given appropriate consent.

Users can make choices regarding cookies using the consent management tool available on the Website.

It should be as easy to withdraw consent as to give it.

9. Recipients of data

Website users’ data may be transferred to entities supporting the Controller, in particular:

the hosting provider,
IT service providers,
email service providers,
entities operating online forms,
providers of analytics and marketing systems – to the extent resulting from cookie settings and consents given,
other entities providing technical services necessary for the Website to function.

Data are transferred only to the extent necessary to provide the specific services.

10. Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area

Some tools used on the Website may be provided by entities based outside the European Economic Area.

If the use of a given tool involves transferring data outside the EEA, the Controller applies the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, in particular adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, where applicable.

11. Data retention period

Personal data are processed for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected.

Data provided in connection with contact may be stored for the duration of the correspondence and then for the period necessary to establish, pursue or defend against claims.

Cookie-related data are processed for the period resulting from the type of cookie, the consent given and the settings of the tool used.

12. User rights

Under the terms set out in the GDPR, users may have the right to:

access their data,
rectification of data,
erasure of data,
restriction of processing,
data portability,
object to processing,
withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent.

Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).

13. Changes to the Policy

The Policy may be updated in particular in the event of changes in the law, in how the Website operates, in the tools used or in the methods of data processing.
